The Freshwater Sounds Archive

Welcome to The Freshwater Sounds Archive, a project that seeks to create a global database of sounds produced by freshwater soniferous species. Our goal is to consolidate existing knowledge on the sounds produced by all freshwater life and provide a free platform to expand that knowledge into the future.

All those who contribute sounds to the archive, following the instructions below, will be included as co-authors in the resulting data paper—allowing us to create an archive that reflects the incredible efforts of those that work within this field. This project is being led by Dr. Jack Greenhalgh in collaboration with the FishSounds team.
